Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], February 18: Bollywood fans are in for a treat this Eid as superstar Salman Khan has unveiled the poster of his highly anticipated film, Sikandar. The actor shared the intense poster on his Instagram, showcasing himself holding a sword with striking green and red tones in the background. Along with the poster, Salman captioned the post: “Sikandar on Eid #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss.”
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar reunites Salman Khan with Sajid after their successful 2014 film, Kick. The movie will mark Salman Khan’s return to the big screen after more than a year, following his appearance in Tiger 3.
The film’s official poster reveals that Rashmika Mandanna will star opposite Salman Khan. In May 2024, the production house had confirmed Rashmika’s role, sharing their excitement for her on-screen pairing with Salman. Sikandar is slated for release during Eid 2025.
In addition to Sikandar, Salman Khan will also appear in Kick 2 later this year. Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna’s recent film, Chhaava, is garnering attention, where she portrays Maharani Yesubai in a cinematic adaptation of Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel Chhava. The movie also stars Vicky Kaushal as Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb. Rashmika is also set to appear in other exciting projects, including Kubera alongside Dhanush and Thama with Ayushmann Khurrana.
