In the next episode of Bigg Boss 19, “Weekend Ka Vaar,” host Salman Khan will give the contestants a severe talking-to. He will be watching TV heartthrob Gaurav Khanna and Mridul because they haven’t been very visible and their gameplay hasn’t been that exciting.
In a new ad for the episode, Salman tells Gaurav Khanna that he feels “nervous playing on the front foot” and that he was hardly seen for 20 minutes all week. After that, the host asks the other housemates what they think of Gaurav’s work on the captaincy challenge. Mridul reacts with a joke, saying, “Taali bajane ka to tha” (He did contribute by clapping). Salman then gives the actor a harsh warning, adding, “This one word should scare every actor: ‘overrated hai yaar ye.'”
The host also directly tells Mridul that his game is too passive. Salman says that he is always “playing under someone else’s shadow” and that he has slipped into the “plus one category.” Mridul enthusiastically acknowledges the number when Salman asks him about his 35 million followers.
But Salman soon warns, “You think your followers will always vote for you, no matter what you do.” That won’t happen. Now that you can’t be seen, your followers will similarly take a backseat when the time comes. The host’s criticism of both competitors shows that they need to work harder and be more visible if they want to stay on the show.
