Sahir Hasan, son of renowned Pakistani actor Sajid Hasan, has confessed to involvement in the drug trade, as per police sources cited by ARY News. His confession came during an investigation linked to the Mustafa Amir murder case, for which he is currently on physical remand.
Police detained Sahir Hasan during an anti-drug operation following the murder of Mustafa Amir in Karachi. According to the investigation report, Sahir admitted to buying and selling narcotics, naming several prominent businessmen and politicians allegedly connected to the illegal network.
Authorities revealed that drug payments were transferred online via his father’s manager’s bank account. The 13-year weed user disclosed he had been selling the drug for two years, conducting operations through the social media platform Snapchat. He sourced narcotics from individuals identified as Bazil and Yahya and utilized courier services to transport drugs worth millions.
Investigators reported that Sahir sold one gram of weed for PKR 10,000, using a digital scale for precise measurements. He confessed to purchasing over a kilogram of weed twice a month, spending between PKR 400,000 to 500,000 weekly on procurement.
