Singer-composer duo Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur, popularly known as Sachet-Parampara, had a scary experience after their New Year’s Eve concert in Balurghat, West Bengal. What began as fans expressing love quickly escalated into chaos when a crowd mobbed the artists’ car and shattered its windshield.
What happened after the concert
A video circulating on social media shows Parampara filming from inside the car as Sachet waves to fans gathered outside. Moments later, a loud knock startles them, prompting Sachet to react in shock. Despite Parampara urging fans to relax and wishing them a happy New Year, the situation worsened as the rear windshield of the car broke.
Security personnel were seen struggling to control the crowd, many of whom were trying to record videos while surrounding the vehicle. Sachet appeared visibly shaken, while Parampara calmly acknowledged that the glass had broken.
Duo shares New Year wishes
Sachet-Parampara have not directly commented on the incident. However, they shared a New Year message for their fans on social media, writing, “Happy New Year to all our dear people who stood by us! May 2026 be extraordinarily good and healthy for all of you. Mahadev Sabki Raksha Karein.”
They also posted a separate video from the concert showing them counting down to the New Year, which received an outpouring of love from fans who attended the show.
