Washington [US], February 5: After her groundbreaking success at the 2024 Grammy Awards, American singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter is celebrating with a special treat for her fans. Just days after taking home her first-ever Grammy Awards for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album, the “Espresso” singer released the deluxe edition of her album Short n’ Sweet.
The newly released version of the album includes fan favorites like “Taste” and “Espresso,” but the highlight is a new version of “Please Please Please,” now featuring country legend Dolly Parton. Expressing her excitement over the collaboration, Carpenter took to Instagram to thank her supporters and shared her enthusiasm about the Grammy wins and the new release. “Thank you for giving this album 2 Grammys,” she wrote in her post.
On working with Dolly Parton, Carpenter gushed, saying, “Yes, that does say featuring Miss Dolly Parton… she wouldn’t want me to swear but holy s–t!!!!!” The deluxe edition also includes additional tracks such as “15 Minutes,” “Couldn’t Make It Any Harder,” and “Bad Reviews,” alongside “Busy Woman,” a track that was previously an online exclusive.
In her post, Carpenter shared her gratitude for the love and support she’s received, saying that “Busy Woman” was one of her favorites and she wrote it just after finishing the album. “It’s one of my favorites so I wanted to give it to you as a thank you for all the love!!!!!”
Fans can look forward to hearing the full version of the catchy song “If you want my kisses, I’ll be your perfect misses,” as part of the deluxe edition, which will be available on Valentine’s Day.
This year’s Grammys marked Carpenter’s debut at the awards, where she earned six nominations, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year. In addition to her impressive wins, she also delivered a stunning debut performance, dazzling the audience with a vaudeville-inspired mash-up of her hits “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.”
