Alexander Tyunin, a Russian businessman and reputed executive at Khimprominzhiniring, a unit of the state nuclear energy behemoth Rosatom, has been found dead in the Moscow region hamlet of Kokoshkino. The U.S. Sun says that Tyunin’s body was found on the ground with a bullet wound and a rifle nearby. Russian state media has called the event a suicide.
According to reports, police recovered a suicide note at the scene. People think Tyunin wrote the note, which had a message about how he was dealing with despair and his wife’s phone number. “I did it myself. I’ve been fighting depression for five years. It continues getting worse. The note said, “I have no strength left.” Russian officials have not yet made an official statement about the death.
