Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India]: Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari on Wednesday announced that the State Budget 2025 will be “historic” and include “several gifts” for the people. She assured that all promises made in the Budget would be fully implemented.
“A really good and historic Budget is going to be presented. There are going to be several gifts for the people of the state. These won’t be just announcements, we will implement whatever we announce. It will be an all-inclusive Budget,” Diya Kumari said.
Diya Kumari is set to present the second Budget of the Bhajanlal Sharma-led State Government in the Rajasthan Assembly today.
Rajasthan Budget to Focus on Development and Inclusivity
Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa praised the previous Budget presented by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, calling it “inclusive of all sections and sectors” and aimed at the state’s upliftment.
He expressed confidence that the new Budget would continue the focus on inclusive growth and contribute to building a developed Rajasthan, aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.
“When the first Budget of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma was presented, it was inclusive of all sections and sectors. It was for the upliftment of Rajasthan. Within 6 months today, it can be seen implemented up to 90%…Today’s Budget will also be for the upliftment of the state and include all sections. It will be for a developed Rajasthan as per the idea of PM Modi,” said Bairwa.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Reviews Development Plans
On February 16, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma held a review meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence in Jaipur to assess the progress of development projects in the city.
During the meeting, the CM instructed District Collectors in the Jaipur division to submit reports on pending cases related to the 2024-25 Budget within three days. He emphasized that District Collectors would be responsible for executing Budget-related announcements and directed officials to resolve issues through on-site inspections.
He further ordered that all necessary approvals for pending projects should be issued by the end of February after conducting a technical review.
Key Priorities for Budget 2025-26
The District Collectors proposed major focus areas for the 2025-26 Budget, including:

✅ Electricity infrastructure
✅ Road development
✅ Healthcare improvements
✅ Education facilities
✅ Tourism promotion
✅ Transport enhancements
CM Sharma instructed officials to prioritize these projects based on feasibility and public benefit.
With the Budget 2025 set to be unveiled, expectations are high for new policies and initiatives aimed at accelerating Rajasthan’s growth and development.
