RS Deputy Chairman Harivansh Pays Tribute To Manmohan Singh, Hails His Farsighted Leadership

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini also mourned Singh’s death, emphasizing his journey from a village in Punjab to becoming an influential economist and Prime Minister. Saini credited Singh for his economic decisions and simplicity, which left a lasting impact on the country. He extended his prayers for Singh’s soul to rest in peace.

3. Congress Leader Harish Rawat Calls Singh a Nation Builder
Congress leader Harish Rawat remembered Singh as a dedicated son of India who devoted his life to nation-building. Rawat reflected on Singh’s crucial role in rebuilding Uttarakhand after the 2013 flood disaster and lamented his passing as a significant loss for both India and the Congress party.

Businessman Robert Vadra, husband of Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi, expressed admiration for Singh’s humility. 6. Leaders Pay Last Respects to Manmohan Singh
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President JP Nadda visited Manmohan Singh’s residence to pay their last respects. Congress leaders, including KC Venugopal, also honored the former Prime Minister.

7. Manmohan Singh’s Final Journey
Singh passed away at the age of 92 at AIIMS, Delhi, due to age-related medical conditions. His body will be kept at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters for public viewing on Saturday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Singh will be cremated near Rajghat, following the customs for Prime Ministers.
