The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a critical update for candidates of the NTPC Graduate Level Exam 2025. Due to administrative reasons, the board has rescheduled the examination originally conducted on December 30, 2025. The re-test is now set to take place on February 11, 2026.
Key Dates & Link Activation
- Rescheduled Exam Date: February 11, 2026.
- Exam City & Date Intimation: The link will go live 10 days prior to the exam (expected around February 1, 2026) on all regional RRB websites.
- Admit Card (E-call Letter): Available for download 4 days before the exam date mentioned in your city intimation slip.
- Travel Authority: SC/ST candidates can download their free travel authority along with the city intimation slip.
Computer-Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) Guidelines
For posts requiring typing proficiency, the RRB has outlined specific requirements:
- Language Options: * English: Minimum 30 words per minute (300 words total).
- Hindi: Minimum 25 words per minute (250 words total).
- Note: English is the default language. Hindi typists must be proficient in Krutidev or Mangal font.
- Test Structure: 1. Warm-up: 1 minute of typing practice to get comfortable with the keyboard. 2. Break: 30-second interval. 3. Actual Test: 10 minutes of evaluation-grade typing.
- Evaluation Rule: Editing tools (Backspace, Delete, etc.) are not permitted. Candidates must type the entire passage at least once within 10 minutes; failing to do so results in automatic disqualification.
