Rohit Sharma Second Indian To Complete 12,000 T20 Runs

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India]Mumbai Indians (MI) opener Rohit Sharma etched his name in the record books by becoming only the second Indian and the eighth overall cricketer to surpass 12,000 runs in T20 cricket. The feat came during MI’s IPL 2025 clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Uppal Stadium on Wednesday.

Rohit achieved the milestone in style, scoring a blistering 70 off 46 balls laced with eight fours and three sixes, at a strike rate of 152.17. This also marked his second consecutive half-century, a feat he last accomplished back in 2016.
