Revanth Reddy Congratulates New Telangana Ministers and Deputy Speaker After Swearing-In Ceremony

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], June 8: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Sunday extended his congratulations to the newly inducted ministers in the state cabinet and the incoming Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.

In a post on X, Revanth Reddy wrote,

“As new ministers about to take charge — Sri Vivek Venkata Swamy, Mr. Adluri Lakshman, and Sri Vakiti Srihari — my congratulations. To Shri Ramachandru Nayak, who is about to assume the charge of Deputy Speaker in the Legislative Assembly, my congratulations.”

Earlier in the day, Gaddam Vivek Venkatswamy, Vakiti Srihari, and Adluri Laxman Kumar were sworn in as ministers in the Telangana cabinet during a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad. The event was presided over by Governor Jishnu Dev Varma and attended by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Gaddam Vivek Venkatswamy, a senior Congress leader and former MP from Peddapalli (15th Lok Sabha), took oath as minister, marking his formal entry into the state cabinet.

Vakiti Srihari, born in 1972 and currently serving as the Congress MLA from the Makthal Assembly constituency in Narayanpet district, also assumed ministerial responsibilities. He was elected during the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections.

Adluri Laxman Kumar, a Congress MLA from Dharmapuri Assembly constituency in Jagtial district—reserved for the SC community—was also sworn in. He too secured his seat in the 2023 state elections.

The swearing-in of these three leaders marks a key development in Telangana’s evolving political landscape under the Congress-led government.
