Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 14: The highly anticipated pan-India film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring actor Pawan Kalyan, has now announced a new release date. Originally set for March 28, the film’s release has been delayed due to ongoing post-production work and will now hit theaters on May 9, 2025.
The makers took to Instagram to make the announcement, alongside a post that read: “The battle is set, and the fight for JUSTICE and DHARMA will be unstoppable! #HariHaraVeeraMallu charges into battle at breakneck speed, and NOTHING will alter the hunt this time. A saga of valor is all set to ignite the screens on May 9th, 2025. A POWER-PACKED ENTERTAINER is loading from @PawanKalyan Garu. Brace for the storm! Wishing you all a very #HappyHoli – Team #HHVM.”
Set in the 17th century, Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1 – Sword vs. Spirit tells the story of an outlaw who stands up against oppression to fight for justice for his people. The film is directed by Jyothi Krishna and written by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, Sai Madhav Burra, and Abhimanyu Srivastava.
Along with Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, the film also features Bollywood actor Bobby Deol in a crucial role. To celebrate Deol’s 56th birthday in January, the makers unveiled a special poster featuring him in a striking black outfit, holding a sword.
Bobby Deol made his Telugu debut earlier this year in Daaku Maharaj, where he acted alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna, Urvashi Rautela, and Pragya Jaiswal. The film was directed by Bobby Kolli.
Fans are eagerly awaiting Hari Hara Veera Mallu for its high-action storyline, period drama setting, and powerhouse performances.
