The result propelled RCB to the top of the points table, while DC slipped to fourth place.

However, Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya stitched a match-winning 119-run partnership to rescue the innings.
- Kohli scored a steady 51 off 47 balls, hitting four boundaries.
- Pandya remained unbeaten on 73 from 47 balls, smashing five fours and four sixes.
After Kohli’s dismissal to Dushmantha Chameera, Tim David came in and scored a quickfire 19 off 5 balls, helping RCB chase down the target in 18.3 overs.
