RCB Presents ‘Sports-Forward Nation’ Report To Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya

New Delhi [India]: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has officially presented its Sports-Forward Nation report to Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, in New Delhi. The report, a collaborative effort between RCB and the Sports and Society Accelerator, draws insights from the discussions held during the RCB Indian Sports Summit in November 2023.

The Sports-Forward Nation report delves into the four pillars of commerce, technology, performance, and social impact, offering a detailed vision for India to establish itself as a global leader in sports. This forward-thinking document serves as both a reflection of the summit and a roadmap for India’s future sporting success.

The report was also presented to Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa, Government of India, who delivered a keynote speech at the event. Kant’s foreword to the report further bolstered India’s ambition of hosting the 2036 Olympic Games and highlighted the nation’s growing sporting capabilities.

RCB’s commitment to shaping the future of Indian sports is evident in this initiative, and the report will play a crucial role in driving further discussions at the upcoming second edition of the RCB Innovation Lab Indian Sports Summit, scheduled for March 14 & 15.

The Sports-Forward Nation report will be officially launched in Bengaluru on February 3 and will be available for public access on the RCB website thereafter.

In the IPL, RCB is gearing up for a fresh challenge this year as they aim for their maiden title, following a strong playoff performance in the 2024 season despite a shaky start.
