Alongside the new website, the RBI has also launched a mobile application to enhance accessibility for smartphone users. The app is available for Android on the Google Play Store and for iOS on the Apple App Store.
The revamped digital platforms were first unveiled in April 2024 by then RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das, as part of a broader initiative to strengthen the central bank’s digital engagement with the public and financial institutions.
With the launch of the new website and mobile app, users can expect improved navigation, faster performance, and enhanced features for accessing RBI’s services, updates, and regulatory announcements.
