New Delhi [India], June 27: Actor Rashmika Mandanna took fans by surprise on Friday by unveiling the first look of her next film, Mysaa. Sharing a gripping and intense poster, Rashmika introduced her “fiercest” avatar yet.
Directed by Rawindra Pulle and produced by Ajay and Anil Sayyapureddy, Mysaa features the Pushpa star in a never-before-seen look. Dressed in a blood-soaked red saree, holding a weapon, and staring straight into the camera with rage and determination, Rashmika’s poster has already piqued massive interest.
In her Instagram post, she wrote:
“Always try to give you something new… something different… something exciting… And this. This is one of those. A character I’ve never played before… a world I’ve never stepped into… and a version of me that even I hadn’t met till now. It’s fierce… it’s intense… and it’s extremely raw. I am so nervous and super excited. I genuinely cannot wait for you to see what we’re going to be creating. This is just the beginning…”
Rashmika recently appeared in Kuberaa, alongside Dhanush and Nagarjuna, and has been on a box-office winning streak with Animal, Pushpa 2, Chhaava, and Sikandar.
Addressing her rising stardom at Kuberaa’s audio launch, the actress responded modestly to being called one of the top actresses in Indian cinema. “I feel like I honestly have just started… I don’t know what this whole number one situation is,” she said, adding that she’s simply enjoying doing films across industries.
Mysaa marks a significant departure from Rashmika’s earlier roles, promising a gritty, bold cinematic journey.
