Actor Rashmika Mandanna, who is currently basking in the success of her horror-comedy film Thamma, recently opened up about her dream collaboration during a fan interaction on social media.
During an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, a fan enthusiastically asked,
“Possible to work with India’s biggest superstar #Prabhas? If it happens please collect my body in theatre my Rashuuu.”
Rashmika, known for her candid and cheerful responses, replied with a playful note:
“😆😆😆😆🩷 I love it.. I hope Prabhas sir sees this message and I hope we really do work together on something special soon! 🩷”
Her reply quickly went viral, with fans flooding the comments section, hoping to see the two South Indian stars share the screen someday.
Rashmika Was Once in Talks for Prabhas’ ‘Spirit’
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Rashmika’s name has been linked to a project featuring Prabhas. Reports earlier suggested that she was in consideration for the female lead role opposite him in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming action film Spirit.
However, the role ultimately went to Tripti Dimri, after Deepika Padukone, who was initially signed, reportedly opted out of the project.
Both Rashmika and Tripti had previously worked with Vanga in his blockbuster Animal (2023), alongside Ranbir Kapoor — making this an intriguing connection among the trio.

Plot: Love Meets the Supernatural in ‘Thamma’
In Thamma, Ayushmann Khurrana plays Alok Goyal, a reporter who encounters a mysterious woman named Tadaka (played by Rashmika) during a hiking expedition. Their forbidden romance drags him into a dark, hidden world of ‘Betal’ — vampiric creatures from Indian folklore.
Rashmika’s nuanced portrayal of Tadaka has been widely praised for blending vulnerability, mystique, and menace, marking one of her most layered performances yet.
The next film in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, titled Shakti Shalini, will feature Aneet Padda of Saiyaara fame in the lead role.
