Mumbai, December 13: On Thursday, debutants Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan launched their song ‘Birangay’ from their highly anticipated Bollywood debut film Azaad in Jaipur.
The track, composed by the acclaimed Amit Trivedi and penned by lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya, is brought to life by the soulful voices of Amit Trivedi and Meenal Jain. The song’s vibrant visuals and powerful lyrics have already struck a chord with the audience.
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad is set to release on January 17, 2025. The film also stars Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role, adding gravitas to this pre-independence saga.
Earlier this week, Ajay Devgn took to Instagram to announce the release date and unveil a captivating poster that highlights the character portrayals of Rasha and Aaman. “Iss kahaani ka dil ek yodha hai, aur dhadkan – #Azaad! Witness the adventure on big screens on 17th January 2025,” he wrote, building excitement for the film.
Set against the backdrop of pre-independence India, Azaad tells a compelling tale where Ajay Devgn’s character, a skilled horse rider, faces off against oppressive English armies. The story takes an emotional turn when his beloved horse goes missing amidst the chaos, and Aaman Devgan’s character takes on the mission to find it.
Speaking to ANI, Ajay Devgn lauded Aaman’s dedication to the project. “I have a significant role in his film as well. The trailer has been released, and people are liking it. Fingers crossed. He is a very hardworking boy,” Ajay said, expressing confidence in the film’s success.
