Ranveer Singh Reacts To BTS Featuring Rehman Dakait’s ‘Paltan’

The box office phenomenon ‘Dhurandhar’ continues to dominate discussions, fueled by the cast’s camaraderie both on and off-screen. The latest buzz was created by actor Danish Pandor, who portrayed the ruthless Uzair Baloch, after he shared a series of behind-the-scenes (BTS) photos on Instagram featuring Rehman Dakait’s ‘Paltan’—the gang at the heart of the action-thriller.

Pandor’s emotional caption praised the film’s lead, Ranveer Singh (who plays the undercover agent Hamza Ali Mazari), highlighting the bond they formed during the intense shoot.

“Starting this post with this beautiful human @ranveersingh bhai, because some bonds just form naturally and stay solid through every frame!! Pure camaraderie, pure trust, and a whole lot of heart!!” Pandor wrote, calling the group “more than just co-actors… It became family!!”

Ranveer Singh responded immediately with equal enthusiasm, commenting simply: “Boyzzzz.”

In a separate interview, Pandor elaborated on his connection with the Ram Leela star, calling their on-screen dynamic a “proper bromance thing.” He lauded Ranveer’s “contagious” energy and intense focus: “The moment he gets into his zone, he filters out all other aspects around him. He concentrates entirely on the scene and tries to excel every bit.”

Box Office Annihilation: Nearing ₹300 Crore

The social media buzz mirrors the film’s unstoppable performance at the global box office. Directed by Aditya Dhar and inspired by real-life operations like ‘Operation Lyari,’ Dhurandhar is shattering records in its second week.

  • Day 9 Collection: Early estimates show the film collected a massive ₹50.9 crore (net) on its second Saturday (Day 9). This monumental surge is reported to be one of the biggest Day 9 earnings ever for a Hindi film.
  • Total Collection: This Saturday spike has pushed the film’s total India net collection to approximately ₹290.65 crore, placing it firmly on track to cross the prestigious ₹300 crore milestone in just 10 days.

Featuring an ensemble cast that includes Akshaye Khanna (Rehman Dakait), Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, Dhurandhar continues to draw audiences with its gripping tale of geopolitical tensions and covert Indian intelligence operations set against the backdrop of Karachi’s dangerous Lyari area.
