Despite being in the final stages of promoting his high-octane action film Dhurandhar, actor Ranveer Singh took a brief break from his busy schedule to join his wife, Deepika Padukone, in Goa for his cousin’s wedding.
Videos and photos of the couple from the ceremony have quickly gone viral, showcasing the star duo in matching, elegant red attire that had netizens swooning.
Matching Reds and Viral Moments
The celebrity couple complemented each other perfectly for the traditional event. Ranveer Singh was seen in a sophisticated red kurta set, while Deepika Padukone looked radiant in a heavily printed red saree, accessorized with traditional gold earrings.
Social media personality Orhan Awatramani (Orry) shared a clip from the celebration on Instagram, which, while featuring his fun moment with the bride, also provided fans with glimpses of the glamorous couple.
Another video captured the electric atmosphere of the after-party, showing Ranveer fully immersed in the celebrations as he enthusiastically danced with his family to a track from his highly anticipated upcoming movie, Dhurandhar.
Dhurandhar Set for Release
The actor’s short wedding break comes just days before the global theatrical release of Dhurandhar on December 5. The film, directed by National Award–winner Aditya Dhar, is carrying massive expectations.
Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi, who plays a significant role in the movie, recently praised the film, predicting a huge success. Speaking to NDTV, Bedi said, “Shooting experience kamaal ka tha (It was a great shooting experience). A new bar has been raised. It will be difficult to break for a long time. Jaise 70s mein Sholay aayi thi and ek naya bar raise kiya tha… That’s the kind of feeling I get about this film.”
Dhurandhar features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt.
