New Delhi [India], April 21: Actor and filmmaker Randeep Hooda recently met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, accompanied by his mother Asha Hooda and sister Dr. Anjali Hooda. The meeting was marked by meaningful conversations around the evolution of Indian cinema, national identity, and wellness initiatives.
Sharing the memorable moment on social media, Randeep Hooda expressed his gratitude, calling it “a great honour and privilege.”
“It was a great honour and a privilege to meet the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri @narendramodi ji,” he wrote.
Hooda praised the Prime Minister’s “insight, wisdom, and thoughts on the future of our great country,” calling them deeply inspiring. “His pat on the back is a great encouragement to keep doing good work in our respective fields and contributing to the growth of our nation,” the actor added.
The discussion included the global rise of Indian cinema and the influence of authentic storytelling in shaping both cultural narratives and national identity. Hooda highlighted the government’s upcoming OTT platform WAVES, describing it as a “visionary initiative” to elevate Indian voices internationally.
“It was also a proud family moment to be joined by my mother, Asha Hooda, and sister, Dr. Anjali Hooda,” he said, adding that they engaged with the Prime Minister on his initiatives related to anti-obesity awareness and holistic wellness.
