Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, is set to release in theatres on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for GrownUps. The sequel has generated massive anticipation following the blockbuster success of the first part, which released on December 5, 2025.
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) took to X and shared his excitement, predicting that Dhurandhar 2 will be “the biggest multi-starrer ever in the history of cinema.” He explained, “Each and every character in the 1st film has become enormously huge in the audience’s mind, in terms of both their value and impact, which is what true stardom is really about.” RGV further emphasized that characters who may have been minor in the first part have now become giant superstars, increasing the film’s star power significantly.
Earlier, RGV had praised Dhurandhar as a “quantum leap in Indian cinema,” noting that it treats cinema as confrontation, not consumption, aiming to stay with audiences long after the film ends.
