New Delhi [India], March 27: On the occasion of Ram Charan’s 40th birthday, the much-awaited announcement for his 16th film was made—previously known as ‘RC16’, the film is now officially titled ‘Peddi’.
First Look: Raw and Intense Avatar
Director Buchi Babu Sana unveiled the first-look posters, showcasing Ram Charan in a rugged and intense avatar. His piercing gaze, untamed beard, messy hair, and nose ring contribute to a menacing and earthy look.
In one of the posters, Charan is seen wearing a striped red shirt, smoking a cigar, exuding an aura of fierce determination. Another poster features him holding an old cricket bat in a rustic stadium under floodlights, hinting at the film’s rural backdrop and powerful themes.
Sharing the posters, director Buchi Babu Sana wrote on social media:
“Happy Birthday my Dear @AlwaysRamCharan Sir… In one word, you are Gold, Sir. Thank you for everything, Sir.”
Star-Studded Cast and Production Team
‘Peddi’ features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu of Mirzapur fame.
The film is backed by Sukumar Writings, the production house of director Sukumar, while Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman is handling the music.
