Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 21: Telugu superstar Ram Charan has given fans a glimpse into his transformation for his upcoming film, ‘Peddi.’ The actor, globally recognized for his role in ‘RRR,’ is currently filming under the direction of Buchi Babu Sana.
On Monday, Charan took to Instagram to reveal a striking “changeover” for his character. The shared image showcased his sculpted arm, a thick beard, and a man bun, emphasizing his dedicated preparation for the role.
“Changeover for @peddimovie begins!! Pure grit. True joy,” read the caption accompanying the powerful picture.
The new look immediately garnered an enthusiastic response from fans, who flooded the comment section. Remarks like “Oh my gaaawd, Beast mode!!!” and “He is back… Everyone trolled him for Game Changer movie. Now he is back. Blockbuster loading… Jai Charan, Jai Jai Charan” highlighted the excitement. ‘Peddi’ features a stellar cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu in pivotal roles. Earlier this year, a teaser titled ‘Peddi First Shot’ was released on Ram Navami, showcasing Ram Charan in a rugged avatar, walking into a dusty field, lighting a beedi, and delivering the impactful line: “I have only one life to live, and I want to make the most of it.”
The film is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings serving as presenters. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, known for ‘Uppena,’ ‘Peddi’ is slated for a global release on March 27, 2026.
