Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has returned to work shortly after being granted interim bail in a cheque bounce case. The actor, who recently walked out of Tihar Jail, has resumed shooting for his upcoming film Welcome To The Jungle in Mumbai.
On Monday, February 23, Rajpal shared a video from his vanity van on Instagram, marking his comeback to the film sets. In the clip, he reflected on his long journey in the entertainment industry and thanked fans and well-wishers for their continued support during a challenging period.
According to reports, the actor began filming for the multi-starrer project soon after arriving in the city. He is also scheduled to address the media at a press conference on February 28.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle features a large ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever, among others.
Interim Bail In Cheque Bounce Case
On February 16, the Delhi High Court granted Rajpal interim bail until March 18, 2026. The court allowed relief on a bail bond of ₹1 lakh with one surety, noting that ₹1.5 crore had been deposited in the respondent’s bank account.
After his release, the actor shared a note of gratitude on social media, thanking everyone for their love and support. Speaking about the ongoing legal matter, Rajpal said that his lawyer would handle all legal proceedings while he focuses on his professional commitments.
