Chennai (Tamil Nadu), July 29: The buzz around Rajinikanth’s upcoming action thriller ‘Coolie’ just got bigger. The film’s makers, Sun Pictures, have officially announced the trailer release date along with a brand-new poster featuring the film’s ensemble cast.
Taking to social media, Sun Pictures confirmed that the official trailer of ‘Coolie’ will be released on Saturday, August 2. The post read:
“The wait is over! The highly anticipated #Coolie Trailer from August 2. #Coolie releasing worldwide August 14th.”
The newly unveiled poster showcases Rajinikanth alongside key cast members: Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj, promising a visual extravaganza.
Grand Pre-Release Event in Chennai
Adding to the excitement, the makers will host a lavish pre-release event on August 2 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. In their announcement, they teased:

First Collaboration in 30 Years: Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan
‘Coolie’ marks the first on-screen collaboration between Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan in nearly three decades, their last being the 1995 cult film ‘Aatank Hi Aatank’, which also starred Juhi Chawla and Om Puri.
Aamir Khan plays the character ‘Dahaa’, and a poster featuring his bold, rugged look was released earlier this month, further building anticipation for his role in the film.
