Rajinikanth & Nandamuri Balakrishna to Be Honoured at IFFI for 50 Years in Cinema

Legendary stars Rajinikanth and Nandamuri Balakrishna are set to be honoured at the closing ceremony of the upcoming International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, marking their remarkable completion of 50 years in cinema.

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Dr. L. Murugan, shared the announcement in the presence of Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. He stated that the felicitation celebrates the iconic actors’ enduring impact on Indian cinema, their influential storytelling, and their immense popularity over the decades.

The 55th IFFI will kick off on November 20 and conclude on November 28. The closing ceremony will take place at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, while the festival will open with a grand float parade along the scenic D B Bandodkar Road.
