Shilpa Shetty and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, recently visited spiritual guru Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan, a visit that has attracted major attention following an emotional scene that was captured on camera. Maharaj said during the conference that both of his kidneys had failed and that he had been living with the problem for ten years.
When he heard this, Raj Kundra made a startling and emotional proposition. He said to Maharaj, “I’ve been following you for two years. I don’t have any questions because your movies usually clear up any uncertainties or fears I have. You are an inspiration to all of us. I know about your health, and if I can assist, I’ll give you one of my kidneys.
Maharaj complimented Kundra for being so selfless and said, “It’s enough for me that you stay happy.” We won’t depart this planet because of a kidney till the call comes. But I really appreciate your kindness.
Kundra and Shetty are having a big legal problem right now, so the visit comes at a good moment. Earlier that day, it was reported that the pair had been charged with cheating a businessman in Mumbai out of ₹60 crore in a case involving their now-defunct company, Best Deal TV Pvt Ltd. They both say the accusations are “baseless and malicious.”
Devotees hold Premanand Maharaj in high regard. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are two of his admirers. His teachings are all about devotion to Lord Radha-Krishna, and millions of people watch his internet sermons.
