Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Entrepreneur and actor Raj Kundra, known for his occasional masked appearances, is set to enter the world of reality television with his participation in the much-anticipated show ‘The Traitors’, hosted by Karan Johar.
The trailer for the Indian adaptation of the globally successful format was unveiled in a grand event in Mumbai on Wednesday. At the launch, Raj Kundra opened up about how his signature mask and enigmatic persona might play to his advantage in the psychological strategy-based game.
“Whenever I have worn a mask in my life, people have wondered what I’m hiding behind it. There has always been a mystery, and I think that mystery might help me in this game,” he remarked.
Kundra also jokingly hinted at using his connection to Bollywood as a tactical edge in the game.
“The Traitors is a Kalyug show. It’s hard to tell friends from enemies. And with Karan Johar hosting, I’m definitely going to use the ‘nepo husband’ card,” he quipped, referencing his wife, actor Shilpa Shetty, and Karan’s reputation for launching star kids.
