Raghav Juyal is winning fans over with his role as Parvaiz, the strange and unpredictable friend in Netflix’s The Ba**ds of Bollywood. People are paying attention to more than just his character. An unscripted incident has gone viral on social media.
Juyal sang the song Kaho Na Kaho from Murder, including its Arabic verses, in front of Emraan Hashmi. This was not in the original script. Fans have praised how free and honest he is in his performance and how funny and embarrassing it is at the same time.
“There is now a separate fan base for just that scene,” Juyal told NDTV. He said that the event came about completely by chance. He said, “It wasn’t in the script.” Aryan and I were quite nervous about what to do when Emraan sir came in. Then Aryan stated out of the blue, “You will sing a song.” We started arguing about Bheege Honth Tere or Kaho Na Kaho, and in the end, we chose the latter because it had Arabic parts that let me do more.
The actor said how emotional the event was: “On the first day I gave the master shot, my whole body shook and tears started to flow.” It came naturally. Everyone was astonished, even Aryan. But I think that worked because it seemed real.
Juyal also said that at first he wasn’t sure about his position. “All the other characters had well-written histories. Not my. Parvaiz was just there, having fun but not really doing anything. People started to perceive me as a leader after Kill, so I went to Aryan. He said, “Hey, I know you, bro.” I trust you completely. This is my favorite character. “Let’s make it together on set.” And that’s what occurred.
Aryan Khan directed The Ba*ds of Bollywood, which came out on Netflix on September 18. Lakshya, Bobby Deol, and Mona Singh are included in the series, along with Emraan Hashmi, Shah Rukh Khan, SS Rajamouli, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan.
