Raashii Khanna Opens Up About Travel Anxiety After Air India Crash That Killed 241

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 6: Actor Raashii Khanna has shared her struggles with travel anxiety in the wake of last month’s devastating Air India crash in Ahmedabad, which claimed 241 of the 242 lives onboard. The tragedy has left many shaken, including the actress, who admitted she now feels uneasy every time she boards a flight.

On Sunday, Raashii took to Instagram to express how recent harrowing headlines have amplified her fear of flying. Posting photos from the airport, she wrote about how travel, which once felt like an “escape,” has now become a source of stress and heaviness.

“There’s so much unrest in the world… Every flight feels heavier now—not just because of the skies, but because of the headlines we carry with us. Travel used to be an escape. Lately, it feels like holding your breath. Anyone else feeling this travel anxiety too?” Raashii shared with her followers.

The Air India crash occurred on June 12, when a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner bound for London crashed into a hostel complex of BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad’s Meghani Nagar area shortly after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. Among the 241 victims was former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. Only one person onboard survived the disaster.
