Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 9: Hisaab Barabar, starring R Madhavan in the lead role, is set to premiere on ZEE5 on January 24. The film will be available for streaming in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
The film’s premiere date was announced on social media, accompanied by a poster. The caption read, “Jab ek aam aadmi uthta hai, toh system hil jata hai. Fraudsters beware! Ab @actormadhavankarenge Hisaab Barabar! Rs #HisaabBarabar premieres 24th January, only on #ZEE5.”
Hisaab Barabar had its world premiere at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa last November, where it received positive reviews for its gripping storyline.
Directed by Ashwni Dhir, the film delves into corruption and systemic injustice. The plot follows Radhe Mohan Sharma (Madhavan), a diligent railway ticket checker who uncovers a small discrepancy in his bank account. What initially seems trivial soon escalates into a complex investigation, revealing a massive financial scam led by Micky Mehta, a corrupt banker played by Neil Nitin Mukesh. As Radhe exposes the fraud, the film also explores his personal life, focusing on the complexities of relationships that cannot be easily balanced like financial accounts.
Actress Kirti Kulhari also plays a key role in the film.
Hisaab Barabar is produced by Jio Studio in collaboration with SP Cinecorp Production. The movie is directed by Ashwni Dhir and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Sharad Patel, and Shreyanshi Patel.
