Moscow, Russia: Elizaveta Krivonogikh, a lady who many people think is Russian President Vladimir Putin’s illegitimate daughter, has come back to social media and posted a picture of herself with a message that was very clear. The 22-year-old posted on a Telegram group, “It’s freeing to be able to show my face to the world again.” It makes me think about who I was meant to be and who ruined my life. “The man who killed millions of people and ruined my life.”
Bild, a German publication that obtained access to her channel, says that Krivonogikh didn’t name Putin directly, but the way she talked about him strongly suggests she was talking about the Russian president. The Kremlin has always denied any relationship, and in 2020, Putin’s spokeswoman said the president had “never heard of her.”
People are paying more attention to Krivonogikh again after she mostly stopped posting on social media after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. Before that, her social media posts typically showed off her luxurious lifestyle, which included luxury clothes and private jets. This led to years of curiosity about her familial ties.
Putin and Svetlana Krivonogikh are thought to be Elizaveta’s parents. Svetlana Krivonogikh rose from being a cleaner to a key stakeholder in Bank Rossiya, which the U.S. has called “Putin’s personal cashbox.” Several investigative papers have looked into Svetlana’s quick rise to fortune, which was believed to be about 7.7 billion rubles in 2020.
Krivonogikh just graduated from a school in Paris that focuses on arts and culture management. Reports say that he has been working in a gallery in Paris that shows anti-war art. Last year, this caused a public uproar when Russian artist Nastya Rodionova, who was living in exile, terminated relations with the gallery. She said it was “unacceptable” for a member of the Putin family to be connected to such a location. Krivonogikh seems to be moving away from her past and the lavish lifestyle she used to show off in her previous tweets.
