Los Angeles [US]: Actress and global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be honored at the fourth annual Gold House Gala this May, receiving the prestigious inaugural Global Vanguard Honor. The recognition highlights her 25-year career of bridging Asian Pacific and Western cultures, with impactful contributions to both Hindi cinema and Hollywood.
Alongside Chopra Jonas, other luminaries to be celebrated include filmmaker Jon M. Chu, rapper Megan Thee Stallion, and director Ang Lee, according to Variety.
The 2025 Gold Gala is scheduled for May 10 at the Music Center in Downtown Los Angeles, and is expected to host over 600 prominent guests. The event will also unveil the 2025 A100 List — an annual compilation of the 100 most influential Asian Pacific changemakers in culture — on May 1.
Gold House CEO and co-founder Bing Chen emphasized the significance of the event, saying, “The Gold Gala is more than just the biggest Asian Pacific event — it’s a platform for launching the next wave of culture.” Speaking on this year’s theme, First Light, he added, “We’re honoring those who have been the first not just for themselves, but for everyone who’s lit after.”
Chopra Jonas’ honor recognizes not only her expansive filmography but also her advocacy for diversity, elevation of underrepresented voices, and cultural impact across global entertainment.
