Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], February 6: The pre-wedding celebrations of Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth Chopra and his fiancée Neelam Upadhyaya have taken over the media, with fans and the press alike captivated by the ongoing festivities.
Currently in Mumbai for her brother’s wedding, Priyanka has been the focal point of attention during these joyful events. On Wednesday evening, the mehendi and haldi ceremonies were held, and Priyanka was seen having a blast, dancing and enjoying the celebrations.
At the mehendi ceremony, Priyanka looked absolutely stunning in an ivory ensemble that included a sleeveless, corset-style choli paired with a lehenga skirt. The outfit was intricately embroidered in multicolored threads, blending traditional elements with a modern touch. Priyanka’s makeup was soft and natural, with a dewy finish, while her hair cascaded in soft, wavy curls. She complemented her look with a dazzling diamond necklace adorned with pink pear-shaped drops, along with matching earrings, rings, and a bracelet.
Alongside Priyanka were her in-laws, Paul Kevin Jonas, Sr., and Denise Miller-Jonas. Priyanka also posed for photographers with her father-in-law and mother-in-law. Kevin Jonas was dashing in a traditional sherwani, while Denise looked radiant in a coral saree, accessorized with white flowers in her hair.
Siddharth Chopra, the groom-to-be, joined the celebrations dressed in a sherwani and posed for the cameras with his cousin sisters. Priyanka’s cousin, Mannara Chopra, also showcased her mehendi design, posing for the paparazzi.
A heartwarming moment came when Priyanka’s father-in-law, Paul Kevin Jonas, won the hearts of everyone present with his thoughtful gesture. After arriving with his wife, Denise, and daughter-in-law Priyanka, the Jonas family posed for photographers outside the venue. As the evening came to an end, the Chopra family showed their gratitude to the media by handing out sweet boxes to photographers and videographers, thanking them for their coverage. Kevin Jonas personally distributed the sweets and addressed the media, saying, “I want to say thank you from Priyanka. We would like to provide you with some food for being so kind.”
The festivities were filled with excitement and love, and Priyanka herself took to social media to share glimpses of the celebrations. She posted images from the haldi ceremony, where she danced with her family, and also shared moments from the ‘Mata Ki Chowki’ function with the caption, “With the blessings of Durga Maa.”
Siddharth Chopra’s wedding to Neelam Upadhyaya is highly anticipated, following their engagement in August 2024, after their Roka ceremony in April 2024.
Beyond her family celebrations, Priyanka Chopra will next be seen in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘SSB29,’ alongside Mahesh Babu. The film, written by Vijayendra Prasad and directed by Rajamouli, is still keeping details about the cast under wraps. Additionally, Priyanka’s produced film, ‘Anuja,’ recently made it to the Oscars 2025 nomination list in the ‘Live Action Short’ category.
