A royal expert says that Prince Harry’s relationship with Prince William has reached a new low and shows “no sign of healing” as he gets ready to visit the UK in September. This is happening even though sources say Harry is trying to fix things with his father, King Charles.
Duncan Larcombe, a former royal editor, says that the Duke of Sussex and the Prince of Wales’s relationship is “worse than ever,” and that past public exposures have caused “betrayal and fury.” Since Queen Elizabeth II died in September 2022, the brothers have not been seen together. William’s continuing silence about it shows that the situation is “just dire,” Larcombe told GB News.

Harry has said before that “the ball was in William’s court,” but Larcombe thinks that the Prince of Wales thinks Harry should apologize. The analyst says that the 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview and Harry’s 2023 memoir, Spare, are the two biggest things that have made William “incredibly damaging” and “furious.”
Even though Harry and his brother don’t get along, Harry’s forthcoming visit for the WellChild Awards could be a chance for him to make up with King Charles. Reportedly, aides for both have talked over the summer to make it easier for them to meet. “Harry really wants to see his dad, from what I’ve heard,” Larcombe added. “But him coming to England is at least a chance for them to meet and start the process of trying to build bridges.”
