President Trump Signs Commission To Confirm Kash Patel As Ninth FBI Director

US President Donald Trump officially signed the commission confirming Kash Patel as the ninth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) during a ceremony held on Thursday at the Oval Office.

Dan Scavino, Assistant to the President and White House Deputy Chief of Staff, announced the news via X (formerly Twitter):

“Moments ago in the Oval Office. Congratulations to the Ninth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Kash Patel,” Scavino wrote, sharing an image from the signing ceremony.
“President Trump has officially signed the commission. Follow Kash on his new X account: @FBIDirectorKash.”


White House Statement:

The White House welcomed Patel’s confirmation, calling it pivotal to executing Trump’s law and order agenda:
