Prashant Kishore Criticizes Nitish Kumar’s Health, Calls For His Resignation

Patna (Bihar) [India], March 26: Krishna Allavaru, the in-charge of AICC Bihar, addressed questions about political strategist Prashant Kishore’s potential involvement in the INDIA coalition, stating that decisions regarding his participation would be made collectively by the alliance parties.

This statement came amid Kishore’s criticism of both Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). On Sunday, Prashant Kishore, founder of the Jan Suraaj initiative, called for Nitish Kumar to resign, claiming that the Bihar CM’s ability to govern had been severely affected by physical exhaustion and mental unfitness.

At a press conference, Kishore remarked, “The first person to comment on Nitish Kumar’s health was his ally, Sushil Kumar Modi… Since then, several Bihar Ministers have commented on his health. I never commented on it until January, but during the BPSC protests, I realized that Nitish Kumar’s mental state has deteriorated to the point where he no longer knows what is happening in the state.”

Kishore continued, “Nitish Kumar is physically tired and mentally unfit. If you need proof, just ask him to name the Ministers in his Council. Nitish Kumar should resign.”

He also criticized the BJP, stating that the party should share equal blame for not addressing the Chief Minister’s condition, suggesting that the Prime Minister or Home Minister may be aware of Kumar’s mental unfitness.

In the backdrop of Kishore’s remarks, a poster targeting Nitish Kumar appeared outside the residence of former Chief Minister Rabri Devi in Patna. The poster read, “The non-serious Chief Minister, Jan Jan Man Adhinayak Jay Hai, Nahi Kursi Kursi Kursi Kursi Jay Hai.”

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav also joined the criticism, mocking Nitish Kumar’s health and questioning his mental and physical stability. Yadav termed it a matter of great concern for the state of Bihar.
