Popular Gaming Creator ‘Tayta Games’ Dies At 21 After Battle With Colon Cancer

La’tayvia Deshay Ransom, a well-known online game developer known to her millions of fans as Tayta Games, has died at the age of 21 after a fight with colon cancer. On September 17, her father, Elton Dirt Ransom, wrote a touching Facebook post to convey the news. He told her that the cancer had sadly progressed to her liver.

In his heartfelt tribute, her father thought about when she died and how his “oldest daughter” would have turned 22 in only nine days. “I’ve been going to the hospital twice a day for the past week, hoping for the best. I felt very hopeful after talking to her. He wrote, “Damn, I can’t believe I lost my child.”

More than a million people on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram were followers of Tayta Games. People knew her for her funny and interesting replies to games like Minecraft and Dress to Impress.

Tayta was open with her followers about her battle with cancer the whole time she was sick. She told everyone about her diagnosis last year and then confirmed that she was doing chemotherapy. Five months ago, she made her last update on YouTube, which explained why she hadn’t been on the site. “I’m doing fine!” “I haven’t been posting because I’m having side effects from chemo,” she said, saying how unhappy she was to be missing her connection with her followers and how she was having trouble with “peripheral neuropathy.”

On August 21, she posted her last TikTok video. After she died, her friends and relatives sent in a lot of tributes. Her twin brother called her the “sweetest” and “funniest” person he knew. He wrote, “Once I astral project, we gon travel dimensions together…”Don’t worry, my insane twin brothers will take care of things. I’ll see you soon, my immortal warrior. A close friend also sent an emotional note that said, “I’m so heartbroken and I still can’t believe it…””Thank you for being the sister I never had. Thank you for never judging me and always pushing me to be better.”
