New Delhi [India]: Actress Pooja Hegde, who has established herself in both Bollywood and South Indian cinema, recently opened up about the challenges of managing a busy schedule, constantly traveling between cities, and switching between diverse roles in different industries.
Balancing Two Worlds: Bollywood & South Cinema
When asked if working in both industries simultaneously is difficult, Pooja admitted that while she enjoys the experience, the constant travel and character shifts can be demanding.
🗣️ “Some days it is, I mean, the traveling part. I always like jumping between two things. But for example, when I was shooting for Deva, I was also shooting for my film Retro, and they both are really different characters. So being able to snap out of one and go back into the other, balancing everything together, is challenging.”
Quality Over Language
Unlike many actors who focus on a specific industry, Pooja emphasized that the quality of work matters more than the language of the film.
“I have always gone with what the work is, and where I feel my role is good or if the film is good. I think that is more important to me than the language. If the work is good, it will reach people.”
