VARANASI, Uttar Pradesh — Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Varanasi, his parliamentary seat on Saturday , for the 51st time. This visit will be very important. The Prime Minister will not only open and lay the foundation stone for an amazing 52 development projects totaling ₹2,183 crore, but he will also speak at a huge public assembly in Banauli, Kalika Dham, where some 50,000 people are anticipated to show up. This visit shows that there is a fresh focus on the overall improvement of Varanasi and the welfare of farmers across the country.

The wide range of projects covers important areas like strong infrastructure, new schools, better healthcare, tourism improvements, urban growth, and protecting cultural treasures. These projects aim to completely change the city, bring back its rich cultural heritage, make it more easier to get around, and ultimately make life better for the people of Varanasi.

Divisional Commissioner S. Rajalingam talked about the big plan, saying that the foundation stone will be placed for 38 new projects worth ₹1,618 crore, and 14 finished projects totaling ₹565 crore will be opened.

Prime Minister Modi tweeted just hours before his expected arrival to say how excited he was: “Tomorrow, August 2nd, is a very special day for my family members of Kashi.” Around 11 am, I will start and lay the first stone for a number of projects that have to do with education, health, sports, tourism, and making connections. I will also be able to release the 20th part of PM-Kisan on this occasion.

Making it easier to get around and connecting people

The Prime Minister will officially open the newly enlarged and strengthened Varanasi-Bhadohi route and the Chhitauni-Shool Tankeshwar road as part of his continued commitment to improving road connectivity across Varanasi. The new Railway Overbridge at Hardattpur will also be opened. It is meant to help with the constant traffic on the Mohan Sarai-Adalpura Road, which will be a big help for people who travel.

In the future, PM Modi will lay the first stone for big road widening and strengthening projects in many rural and metropolitan areas. Dalmandi, Lahartara-Kotwa, Gangapur, and Babatpur are some of the most important areas. Also, new Railway Overbridges are planned for Khalispur Yard and level crossing 22C. These will make traffic and connections even easier.

A Big Step Forward for Healthcare and Sports Infrastructure

Varanasi’s healthcare system is about to get a big boost. The Prime Minister will open new medical facilities at the famous Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre and Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital. These will include state-of-the-art robotic surgery and CT scan facilities. He will lay the first stone for a new Homoeopathic College and Hospital and open a special Animal Birth Control Center to further extend medical services.

PM Modi will also open a synthetic hockey field at the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Sports Stadium to show his goal for world-class sports facilities. This would be a big help to local players and sports fans.

Giving Divyangs strength and making sure things run smoothly

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also give 2,025 “divyangs” (those with disabilities) important tools. “These thoughtful gifts include motorized tricycles and other assistive devices,” said Divisional Commissioner S. Rajalingam. He also said that “all preparations for his visit have almost been completed.”

Mohit Agarwal, the Commissioner of Police, told the public that “tight security arrangements have been put in place for the visit,” making sure that the event would go off without a hitch.

Dilip Patel, the BJP president for the Kashi region, talked about how important this visit was. He said it was the Prime Minister’s 51st journey to his parliamentary seat. He stressed how past visits have greatly helped Varanasi grow, changing Kashi while carefully keeping its old-world beauty and rich history.

Patel says that PM Modi should arrive at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport before noon. After that, he will go to Banauli in Kalika Dham, which is in the Sewapuri Assembly seat, to speak to the crowd. About 50,000 people are expected to show up at the event, which shows how excited people are about the Prime Minister’s arrival.

The BJP has made careful plans to make sure the event goes off without a hitch. The site has been carefully split into 20 blocks, each of which is controlled by a team of 13 BJP volunteers and a designated in-charge. VIPs, women, farmers, intellectuals, media people, and people with disabilities (Divyangs) will all have special seating arrangements that have been well planned out.

The 20th installment of PM-KISAN is a boost for farmers all throughout the country.

On August 2, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also disburse the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) plan. This is a big step in helping farmers. This important payment will send more than ₹20,500 crore directly to the bank accounts of more than 9.7 crore farmers all throughout the country. With this new release, the total amount of money given out through the plan since it started will be over ₹3.90 lakh crore.

More than 2.3 crore farmers in Uttar Pradesh, a major agricultural state, would get a lot of money—₹4,600 crore. About ₹48 crore will go to 2.21 lakh farmers in Varanasi district. This direct financial help shows that the government is still committed to helping farmers in the country.
