Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed for Bangkok, Thailand, on Thursday morning to attend the 6th BIMSTEC Summit scheduled for April 4, 2025. His visit will be followed by a State Visit to Sri Lanka from April 4 to April 6.
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal confirmed the Prime Minister’s departure, stating:

- Key discussions on regional connectivity, trade, security, and economic cooperation.
