Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Swabhiman Apartments, Ashok Vihar, to inaugurate 1,675 newly constructed flats under the In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 12:10 PM. Following this, at 12:45 PM, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects across Delhi.

- 1,675 Flats: Newly constructed for dwellers of Jhuggi Jhopri (JJ) clusters.
- Affordable Contribution: Beneficiaries will pay only ₹1.42 lakh for the flat and ₹30,000 for five years of maintenance, covering less than 7% of the ₹25 lakh construction cost per flat.
- Second Successful Project: Marks the completion of the second In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).
- Objective: To provide better living environments with modern amenities for JJ cluster residents.
- Urban Redevelopment Projects:
- World Trade Centre (WTC), Nauroji Nagar:
- Replaces over 600 old quarters with 34 lakh square feet of premium commercial space.
- Incorporates green practices like zero-discharge concepts, solar energy, and rainwater harvesting.
- General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA), Sarojini Nagar:
- Includes 28 towers with over 2,500 residential units.
- Features eco-conscious designs, rainwater harvesting, sewage treatment, and solar-powered waste compactors.
- World Trade Centre (WTC), Nauroji Nagar:
- CBSE Integrated Office Complex, Dwarka:
- Built at a cost of ₹300 crore.
- Equipped with offices, an auditorium, an advanced data center, and comprehensive water management systems.
- Constructed to Platinum Rating standards of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).
- Development Projects for Delhi University:
- Foundation stones to be laid for projects worth over ₹600 crore, including:
