New Delhi [India]: Ahead of the release of the 19th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday reiterated his commitment to improving the lives of farmers, calling them the “Annadatas” (food providers) of the nation.
Taking to social media platform X, PM Modi reshared a Government of India thread highlighting the success of India’s largest farmer welfare scheme and the country’s record-breaking agricultural production.
“We are proud of our Annadatas, and our commitment to improving their lives is reflected in the efforts highlighted in the thread below,” PM Modi posted.
The Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme aims to ensure the welfare, happiness, and prosperity of Indian farmers by providing direct income support.
Bihar Rally Ahead of 2025 Elections
Later in the day, PM Modi will address a mega public rally in Bihar at the Airport Ground, ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. The rally will also mark the official release of the 19th instalment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.
The event is expected to witness the participation of nearly 5 lakh farmers and will be attended by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other senior NDA leaders.

BJP’s Confidence in Bihar Elections
The BJP-led NDA is aiming for a massive victory in the upcoming Bihar elections, scheduled for October-November 2025. Hussain expressed confidence that the NDA alliance will win over 200 seats, citing the strong leadership of PM Modi and CM Nitish Kumar.
“Just like in Delhi, we will win the upcoming Bihar elections too,” Hussain asserted.
