PM Modi Holds Roadshow In Gandhinagar, Highlights Development Milestones During Gujarat Visit

Gandhinagar (Gujarat): On the second day of his Gujarat visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a vibrant roadshow in Gandhinagar on Tuesday.

A large crowd gathered along the route to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister, many waving the Indian tricolour with pride. The roadshow route was adorned with posters praising PM Modi and his leadership, particularly lauding the success of Operation Sindoor.

Cultural performances added to the celebratory atmosphere, with local artists performing the traditional Gujarati folk dance, Garba, to welcome the Prime Minister. PM Modi greeted the cheering crowds with waves and acknowledged their support with gratitude.

Following the roadshow, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the 20th anniversary event of Gujarat’s Urban Growth Story and lay the foundation stones for several key infrastructure projects.

A day earlier, in a historic visit following Operation Sindoor, PM Modi traveled to the border district of Kachchh. From Bhuj, he inaugurated 18 development projects valued at ₹2,326 crore and laid the foundations for an additional 15 projects worth ₹51,088 crore, bringing the total investment to over ₹53,400 crore for the state.

While addressing a large public gathering near Time Square in Bhuj, the Prime Minister was met with enthusiastic chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” In his speech, he emphasized national pride, declaring, “The Indian tricolour must never be allowed to bow under any circumstances.”

Speaking warmly in the local dialect, he greeted the crowd with, “Ki Aayo Kutchhi,” and asked about their well-being. He praised the residents of Kachchh as the “brave guardians of the nation’s border.” Honouring the legacy of Shyamji Krishna Varma, a revolutionary from Kachchh, PM Modi also thanked the regional deity Maa Ashapura, saying, “With her blessings, all aspirations are being fulfilled.”

Reflecting on his close connection to Kachchh, the Prime Minister shared, “The unwavering love and affection of its people continually draws me back to the region.” He also noted the positive changes in the region brought by the Narmada River, saying, “For a land that faced water scarcity for centuries, it felt no less than a Diwali celebration.”
