New Delhi [India], June 11: Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Jha, who led one of the all-party delegations under Operation Sindoor, stated that the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday served as a comprehensive de-briefing on India’s global outreach and anti-terror stance.
Speaking to ANI on Wednesday, Jha revealed that members of all seven delegations had submitted a detailed feedback report to the Prime Minister following their international visits. The meetings were part of India’s diplomatic initiative after the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 tourists.
“Yesterday, the Prime Minister called all MPs and took feedback from everyone. He listened to our input and appreciated the fact that people from various political backgrounds spoke with one voice abroad,” Jha said, emphasizing the unity displayed by the Indian delegations.
He noted that the Prime Minister’s focus remained firm on India’s zero tolerance for terrorism. “PM Modi underlined the new normal—that any terrorist activity at the border will be considered an act of war,” Jha added.
Highlighting Modi’s openness during the meeting, the JDU MP remarked, “The biggest thing was that he listened to everyone for the maximum time and encouraged suggestions from all members. He thanked us for conveying India’s strong stance against terrorism and nuclear blackmail to the world.”
Prime Minister Modi hosted the seven all-party delegations at his official residence in New Delhi on Tuesday evening. These delegations, comprising MPs from across party lines, had visited over 30 countries to promote India’s diplomatic message following Operation Sindoor—an outreach campaign showcasing India’s firm response to terrorism and its rising global stature.
