New Delhi [India]: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended heartfelt greetings to the nation on the occasion of Holi, expressing his hope that the festival would bring renewed enthusiasm and energy into people’s lives while fostering national unity.
Taking to social media platform X, PM Modi conveyed his wishes, emphasizing Holi’s significance in strengthening bonds of harmony.

“I wish you all a very Happy Holi. This festival filled with joy and happiness will infuse new enthusiasm and energy in everyone’s life and will also deepen the colours of unity among the countrymen,” he wrote in Hindi.
Meanwhile, after concluding his two-day state visit to Mauritius, PM Modi thanked Mauritius Prime Minister Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam and the people and government of Mauritius for their warm hospitality.
PM Modi shared key moments from his visit, which included attending the Mauritius National Day parade in Port Louis and offering prayers at the revered Ganga Talao. As PM Modi visited the sacred site, crowds gathered along the roads for kilometers to catch a glimpse of him.
On Thursday, PM Modi returned to New Delhi after concluding his visit. During his visit, Mauritius President Dharam Gokhool conferred PM Modi with Mauritius’ highest civilian award, the Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean.
This visit marked the second time PM Modi was invited as the Chief Guest for Mauritius’ National Day celebrations, the first being in 2015. Notably, PM Modi offered prayers at Ganga Talao using holy water brought from the Prayagraj Mahakumbh.
Thousands braved heavy rains to witness PM Modi receive the prestigious award, underscoring the significance of his visit.
