Prime Minister Narendra Modi has crossed 30 million subscribers on YouTube, becoming the most-followed world leader on the platform and further strengthening his global digital presence.
According to official data, Modi’s subscriber count significantly surpasses that of other prominent global leaders. Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who ranks second, has roughly one-fourth of Modi’s subscriber base.

The Indian prime minister also has more than seven times the subscribers of US President Donald Trump, highlighting the scale of his online outreach.
Lead Over Indian Political Rivals
Domestically, Modi’s digital following is well ahead of other political figures and parties. His YouTube subscriber base is nearly three times that of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and more than four times the combined subscribers of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Indian National Congress.
Officials said the milestone reflects sustained engagement and consistent digital communication with citizens and international audiences.
Expanding Social Media Footprint
Last month, Modi also crossed 100 million followers on Instagram, becoming the first world leader and politician to achieve the feat on the platform. Since joining Instagram in 2014, his account has grown into one of the most followed and interactive among global political leaders.
The latest YouTube milestone further cements his position as one of the most digitally influential political figures worldwide.
