New Delhi [India], April 25: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) skipper Pat Cummins emphasized the critical role that experienced bowlers play in maintaining composure under pressure, especially in high-scoring T20 games, ahead of their clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Friday.
Speaking on JioHotstar’s Gen Gold series, Cummins reflected on the value of having seasoned bowlers in his arsenal.
“Last year, it was T. Natarajan, Bhuvi, and JD. This year, we have Harshal Patel, Mohammad Shami, and Jaydev Unadkat again. That kind of experience helps keep a cool head when the runs are flowing,” Cummins said.
He praised their ability to remain composed even when the “ball’s flying around,” adding that confidence across a season is something that comes only with years of bowling in pressure scenarios.
