Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 18: Actor Parineeti Chopra took a heartwarming trip down memory lane, sharing a throwback picture from her childhood spent in Mount Kenya National Park.
The photo was originally shared by her brother Sahaj Chopra on his Instagram Story, featuring a young Parineeti posing with her siblings and parents. Reposting the image, Parineeti wrote,
“Our childhood spent in Kenya with my grandparents who lived there.”
The nostalgic moment comes as fans continue to celebrate the one-year anniversary of her Netflix film Amar Singh Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali.
Marking the occasion, co-star Diljit Dosanjh shared an unseen behind-the-scenes video of the duo singing a song together — a track that never made it to the film’s final cut. The raw, in-the-moment video captures their chemistry as they harmonize during what appears to be an impromptu jam session on set.
Diljit captioned the post in Punjabi and English:
“Kai Akhadey Shoot Kitey c Film Lai.. Kush Montages Type v Shoot Kitey c @imtiazaliofficial Sir Ne… Just For Reactions.. Galti Falti Maaf Kareo. Chamkila Forever!!! Gratitude and love on one year of Amar Singh Chamkila on @netflix_in.”
Parineeti reposted the video, calling it:
“My favorite akhada. Completely impromptu. Unseen in Chamkila.”
